Juz backie from movies. Went with sis to the VS sales @ Timberlux building first. Bought 4 tongs & a super comfy & pretty nightie. hehe

Picked mum & dad from home, rushed down to catch 7.30 show @ Tiong. Bought burgers cos all of us haven't had dinner... The show started @ around 7.45 & ended @ 9.15.. a bit short rite? Anyway, it's good cos if i stayed inside there any longer, i might get heart attack. haha...

The story of The Maid is actually about this family who's in the Teochew Opera business, hired a maid, Rosa, from Philippines. The day she reached the family was the first day of the Hungry Ghost Festival. So, the mdm(Hong Huifang) warned her some not-to-dos during the month. But one day, when she went outta house, she stepped on the burnings juz outside. & strange things started to happened.

The ending told the story of why & how the previous maid died. It's quite bo liaoz @ the end... hahaha.. Anyway, if u wanna know full story, go watch in cinema or wait for pirated vcd/dvd lah.. =D

Anyway, i felt dat the story a bit stupid. I was basically laughing for the first 10mins lor!
1. the maid speaks better english then the sir(Chen Shu Cheng) and mdm
2. the maid wakes up later than the employers & sleeps earlier than them
3. breakfast is ready when the maid wakes up
4. the family actually don't look so rich to b able to have a maid & they totally have NO PURPOSE to have one!
5. the mdm told the maid that she had done something wrong that offended that Ghosts. Then tell her not to worry cos the ghost month onli 30 days, after that she'll b fine. But idea is... she started seeing ghosts on the 3rd day(i tink) of 7th month!

Anyway, if u don't mind spending 7 bucks to get scared... can consider to watch it. hahaha...

I'm backie @ home @ 5.45pm today! Hohoho..

Attended a course today, Who Moved My Cheese. And I got a box of soon-to-expire cheesedale cheese cubes for writing the best 'handwriting on the wall' hahaha...

Going to watch The Maid with my parents & sis later... Still waiting for all of them to come home.. So tired... feel like sleeping leh.

I've been a really good gal recently. Staying home on Fri & Sat nites.. Dad & Mum muz b thinking "jit kor siao liao ah?" haha... I'm beginning to enjoy then nua-ing weekends.

Anyway, i suddenly had this thought while cleaning up the house this afternoon. Normal youths will like work/study on weekdays n enjoy themselves on weekends. I rather i work AND enjoy on weekdays, make myself so tired, i can slack my whole weekend @ home! hahahaha.... I think I'm seriously going CRAZY.

Planning with San to mit next week cos Shiyan's back from aussie(for good). I totally hate it when ppl call mi & suggest a mit up, then ask mi to organise.

S : hey, let's mit up next week. We haven't met for so long
ME: ok.. sure!
S : okie. U can call the rest n set a date n call me back?
ME: (to myself) HUH???? wtf?

It's like so DUH... So whenever they asks me to call up the rest of the gang, no one will ever get any calls from me.

Whenever I make plans to meet old friends, I always ask them to choose a date & I will always try to block out that day for them. But my dear friend thinks otherwise.

P : eh, we mit this friday ok? 7.30 @ city hall.
S : huh... only can friday ah? my poly mates always meet on fridays one...

YEAH!!! I've got the polaroid cam already! woohoo!!!

Work this week is pretty stressful. Had a talk with boss for like 20 mins on my duties & other stuff regarding the presentation on Monday. She also kinda realised i'm quite lobo @ work(although she don't say it). wahaha....

Conclusion of the talk...
- I'm 'assigned' to help out 2 officers permanently
- She agreed to let me help out more on media briefings & conferences
- More work cos I'm like more or less in charge of the press coverage report

Actually L is quite a nice boss when her mood is good. Compared to BB & AB, who are almost like devils. I think they're out to chase their secretaries away. Anyway, heard news dat LL & J are gonna apply for a transfer soon. I'll have 2 friends less in the office... sob sob sob.. Y so much office politics? =(

I'm thinking of a job change too... should I? But thinking of interviews and getting into a new evironment turns me off completely.

I'm trying to get this. Still waiting for reply from the seller. Argh... i hate waiting... (-_-")

It's been a super long & boring week. I'm still sitting in for the secretary until tml. We're supposed to have a MR presentation to the Director & Dep. Director today. But cos 2 person are on leave, boss decided to push it back to next week. Very good… cos I tink it's real weird without the whole team.
Now I'm blogging as if I'm writing an email. Haha… can imagine how bored I am… arrghh…

Went to dearie's house last nite, completed Onimusha3 for the 2nd time. SO blardy boring rite? I got no other games to play.. Who wanna share his/her games with mi? I like puzzle games or any RPG. Or anyone got digimon4, can burn one copy for me? Hahaha….

August is a month of spending. Got dearie, hui, candice, kiat & dad's bday… then 18th is me & dearie's 4 yrs anniversary! So many occassions! Stressed…

Went for the buffet @ Ellenborough Market Café @ Merchant Court on Sat to celebrate dearie's bday. Dearie wasn't really very impressed by the food there. Kept saying the variety is very little, bla bla bla. We ate like 1 whole big plate of salmon sashimi lor! The mee siam is very nice. The desserts are all so tempting. Overall, I feel quite happy with the food there. We missed the fireworks again cos we were eating while the fireworks were blasting away. Had to go home early cos he wanted to do his homework… (the first time we missed it, we were shopping in popular @ jurong east)



Celebrated Hui's bday on Monday @ the Yatch Club. Poor Alvin cooked up a feast which got A LOT of comments from those who din do anything(like me). Haha... Spent a rather fun & relax nite playing silly games & drinking. After some drinks, the guys decided to go for soccer while the gals stay in for mahjong. Lost $2 on the mahjong table.. (-_-")

I'm super tempted to go KL for the mega sales. But cos I juz went to HK + dearie is SUPER busy with his school work. We can't go away until after Oct. So sianz…
